I used 1/2 yard for the main body, plus a little more for the top rim, and the same for the lining fabric. You stitch them inside out (except the top), stitch the lining inside out (except the top), then stitch the top of the body to the top of the lining. Then you just shove your lining inside. If you want names on them, I chose the ribbon and had it embroidered. You want to stitch that on before you sew the body together.

What this is all about...
This all started with Christmas, but now I can't stop making things. I'm having so much fun! So, I'm now adding things that weren't for Christmas, but for gifts, projects, etc...
In an effort to save money and okay let's be honest, because I absolutely LOVE homemade presents, I am making all of our Christmas presents this year. I'm not going to include names, just in case you might be the one receiving this gift! Not all the ideas are mine, most I took from someone else, so I'll include links to the original idea.
how much fabric did you guy to make these stockings? Did you just sew them inside out and then turn them out?
